How Big is Alaska?

The time is getting closer. I am planning on leaving Massachusetts on or about May 31st, a Thursday morning.

I feel like I have quite a bit of the preparation done, but still have a fair amount left to do.  Mounts are on the bike for the video camera and the GPS, and everything else is strewn about my living room floor!  Probably the only thing that could have prevented me from going was a passport, and that arrived a couple weeks ago.
